Drying and storage system for flexible videobronchoscopes/cystoscopes and similar, flexible fibrobronchoscopes/cystoscopes and similar to The DRS-221™ is a vertical cabinet designed to store and dry up to 6 flexible videobronchoscopes/cystoscopes and similar, in addition to up 6 fibrobronchoscopes/cystoscopes and similar of any main type and main brand; it is also provided with 4 air-forced drawers to store laryngoscopes, accessories and rigid optics (wrapped instruments).

The DRS-221™, as class I medical device, is studied to grant complete conformity to EN 16442:2015, keeping the instruments aseptic for a maximum 800 hours. The DRS-221™ can maintain, in each condition, the correct pressure of filtered sterile air. The air is filtered through bacteriological filters H14 with a porosity of 0.2 micron (external drying air system), and through filters to retain viruses with a porosity of 0.003 micron (internal channels drying).

This system helps avoid the risk of environmental contamination, also thanks to our patented cold Plasma system, for the automatic decontamination of the endoscopes storage chamber and drawers. The 12 independent positions avoid any possible cross-contamination risk, and the vertical disposition allows a rapid drying of the endoscopes. The device is managed by a PLC through a 7” 16:9 HD touch-screen colour display, that shows the endoscopes stored inside the chamber and the drawers.

The DRS-221™ is also available in an Air-Heated version, which dries the endoscopes through air heated up to 32°C max. (TV version). Currently, the DRS-221™ is the only device on the market dedicated to ENT, bronchoscopy, urology and pneumology departments. The device is studied to ensure a low energy consumption, and consequently a low environmental impact.

– Possibility to integrate the traceability software for executed cycles, indicating the various events happened during the storing process. The software is compatible with the most important hospital management information systems, via Ethernet connection.

– Patented cold Plasma system, for the automatic decontamination of viruses and bacteria (default only in the PLC version).
